DEPOSIT: A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your puppy. The seller guarantees that your
chosen puppy will not be sold to any party other than the buyer if the buyer picks up the puppy on the agreed
date. This deposit will be deducted from the final sale price of the puppy.
GUARANTEE: This puppy is guaranteed to be in excellent health, to the best of the seller’s knowledge.
The buyer has 72 hours, from the time of pick-up, to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. Fail-
ure to have the puppy checked by a veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup will void this contract. IF THERE
IS A PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE RECTIFIED the puppy may be returned to us, at the buyer’s ex-
pense, on the day following this vet exam, along with the veterinarian’s statement indicating the problem. A
full refund of the purchase price will be given, providing the problem is covered. The Seller guarantees the
puppy against fatal viruses for 72 hours. These include Distemper, Parvo, and Adenovirus. NOT COVERED
are Coccidia, Giardia, and Kennel Cough. Coccidia and Giardia are commonly found in puppies and may or
may not cause symptoms. Stress of a new home and surroundings can cause a stress-related outbreak. This
should be considered a reasonable expectation and is the Buyer's financial responsibilty.(Exclusion: This
does not apply to a health problem resulting from injury or accident due to buyer’s negligence) Viral or bac-
terial infections such as Coccidia and Giardia are easily treated and very common in puppies. These are not
covered in the health guarantee as puppies are naturally at risk for them. They can be picked up in transit or
due to stress when going into a new home but are nothing serious and are easily taken care of should they oc-
cur. Kennel Cough is not covered in the health guarantee. Kennel Cough is self limiting and like the com-
mon cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threaten-
ing. Minor health ailments including, but not limited to, fleas, worms, or stress induced diarrhea due to the
puppy's transition from the Sellers home are not reason for dog to be returned to Seller. Proof of examination
and diagnosis must be provided to Seller and Sellers vet, should Buyer wish to request returning dog for a re-
fund. Proof of a pre-existing ailment or condition that requires minor treatment and will not alter or shorten
the dog’s life will not be reason for Seller to reimburse Buyer for the expenses associated with treating that
ailment or condition. A warranty for Hip Dysplasia is provided for two years. This warranty will be termi-
nated should dog be allowed to become overweight or developing joints be overstressed at any point during
the first two years. Should dog be found to have Hip Dysplasia within its first two years, Buyer must provide
Seller with proof in the form of documentation from PennHIP or OFA. We reserve the right to confirm the
results before a replacement or refund is provided. Veterinary medical records will be required showing the
weight of dog and veterinarians assessment of the weight. We reserve the right to confirm the results before a
refund is provided. Should results from OFA / PennHIP indicate that an injury may have occurred that
caused or contributed to the issue, no reimbursement will be provided. All Parson Standard puppies are sold
as TOP PET QUALITY, unless otherwise specified by the breeder. Puppies may be picked up only after
full payment has been received. The breeder does not guarantee size. We will give the buyer the weight of
the puppy’s parents. We can give the buyer an educated guess as to full grown weight, but there are too
many variables besides genetics. Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine
preventative health care including, but not limited to, Vaccinations, Internal and External Parasites, Heart-
worm prevention and any other preventative medication Vet feels is needed. Veterinary records must be pro-
vided to breeder if requesting refund or replacement. If any of the above preventative care has not been pro-
vided, health warranty will be void. Buyer agrees to return dog to Seller, or allow Seller to re-home dog/
puppy should it become necessary at any point during its life. Seller will help negotiate price for Buyer with
the new family where dog will be re-homed. Buyer agrees not to sell/transfer the puppy to pet broker or pet
I acknowledge that this is a legal and binding contract and have reviewed and agree to the terms listed
above. The buyer agrees to maintain up-to-date vaccines, worming, heartworm prevention, and to
keep the puppy/dog in humane conditions, providing proper food, water and shelter. Failure to follow
the above contract will result in a breach of contract and shall render the contract null and void. This
contract applies only to the original purchaser and is NOT transferable. When a deposit is received,
the Purchaser automatically agrees to the terms of this contract, even if both parties have not yet
signed the contract.
Cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is ex-
